Senior Shopify Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join our growing team. You'll work on challenging projects for international brands, building custom themes, apps, and integrations that push the boundaries of what's possible on Shopify.

Responsibilities

Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Build and maintain Shopify apps using Node.js and React
Integrate third-party services and APIs with Shopify stores
Optimize store performance and ensure best practices
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates and new features
Contribute to internal tools and processes improvement

Requirements

3+ years of experience with Shopify development
Expert knowledge of Liquid templating language
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
Experience with Shopify Theme Kit or Shopify CLI
Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL)
Experience with React or Vue.js is a plus
Understanding of web performance optimization
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English (French is a plus)

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify Plus and checkout customizations
Knowledge of Hydrogen and Oxygen (Shopify's headless framework)
Experience with e-commerce analytics and conversion optimization
Contributions to open-source projects
Shopify certifications
